Edge-to-Edge Quilting

Computerized edge to edge designs are 2.5¢ per square inch.

Example: If a quilt is 50" x 60"

then 50 x 60 x .025 = $75

I do charge a quilting minimum of $45. A small wall hanging quilt or table runner will be rounded up to the $45 minimum. If you have several items that could be quilted togehter (ie. two baby quilts or several placemats), I recommend waiting and sending them to be quilted together to avoid paying the minumum on each item.

Custom Quilting

Computerized custom quilting pricing begins at 5¢ per square inch.

I define custom quilting as two or more designs or motifs are used to quilt blocks individually

(as opposed to an all-over edge-to-edge pattern)

Binding Options

Level 1: apply pre-made binding to front of quilt: $0.05 per linear inch

Level 2: make and apply binding to front of quilt: $0.10 per linear inch

Level 3: make and apply binding to the front and back of quilt via machine: $0.15 per linear inch

Level 4: make and apply binding to the quilt by machine, turn and hand stitch for no visible stitches: $0.30 per linear inch

Batting

Batting (+ applicable 7% sales tax) is not included in per-square-inch quilting pricing, but is available for purchase if desired.

I stock 90" wide Warm and White batting at a price of $15/yard or 42¢ per inch. In an effort to not be wasteful, I will cut only what is needed for your quilt, which is 5"more than the shorter side of your quilt. (Example: for a 60x80 quilt, you would need 65" or 1.8 yards of batting which would be $27)

I also am able to supply specialty batting from either the Warm Compant or Quilter's Dream, be it bamboo, 80/20 or wool.

Please inquire via email for accurate pricing for your project, as type and size will determine pricing.

Shipping

Shipping to me:

I live in Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA, and would love to receive your top and backing by mail for quilting. As you have likely spent many precious hours piecing your quilt top, I know you want to ensure it arrives to me safe and sound! I recommend placing your quilt top and backing in a bag to keep it safe from moisture, then boxing it up securely and addressing it clearly.

Return shipping: I’ll ship your finished quilt back to you via USPS Priority Mail (using flat rate when it’s the most economical option) and will add the actual shipping costs to your invoice.

Priority Mail includes tracking and $100 of insurance. If you’d like additional insurance, just note it on your intake form.
