I'm a former middle school music teacher, turned sewer and quilter in South Carolina. I've been in love with quilting for over 16 years now, taking my first class not long after purchasing my first little Brother sewing machine from Walmart when I was expecting my first kiddo.
My love for cutting fabric apart and sewing it back together knows no bounds. To me, it's a little bit magical and makes me irrationally happy to see a project come together.
For many years I would piece quilt tops and send them off to be longarmed. I would daydream about having a longarm machine of my own and all the fun I'd have with it.
Now that I am a longarmer myself, I spend my days "ooh-ing and ahh-ing" over all of your hard work and listening to the story behind each pieced top as we work together to get your quilt across the finish line - and ready to snuggle!
